Amani Hotel Suites & Spa reviews
- 9.2Comfortable stay
The staff was friendly and helpful, we came within 12 hours of the earthquake and the staff was accommodating, we were in two minds of cancelling it all together but we decided to stay.
Breakfast was very nice, yes repetitive food but everything was available. Kids enjoyed the pool but I was roasting sitting at the table, could do with having few fans running for the comfort of the people sitting down. The Ac in the rooms was good. Deco nice but too many photographs in the room, which made me feel uncomfortable. - 8.2Clean and comfortable
When it is 110 outside, you tend to spend more time in your room. Hotel Amani was very comfortable. The suites were generously sized. A small kitchen in the dining room was greatly appreciated. It would have been great if they had a couple of plates and glasses.
- 9.3It's ok for two nights
- 9.0A Great Start To Our Stay
The facility was delightful, clean and welcoming. We loved the decore of the internal building throughout and the pool room especially.
I particularly loved that they had an indoor pool as I'm not a fan of pools that are surrounded by the rooms of the hotels over looking the pool.
The room layout was nice and we liked the bathrooms and their small shower products. Not all hotels have nice scented wash products.
The kettle and teas were a good.
The members of staff were lovely and helpful as I needed a bit of help finding their coach/bus stations to travel into Agadir.
The breakfast was nice and on the simply side of things, we appreciated actual freshly squeeze orange juice in the morning, so that was a nice touch for some place just serve bottle or carton juice.
The restaurant was good too, we liked their smoothies and milkshakes quite a bit.
The location isn't to bad depending on what it is that you are looking for, of course a lot of place in Morocco require a vehicle to get around otherwise you'd find yourself doing a fare amount of walking.
We were grateful to find the coach/bus station not to far away from the hotel and the same goes for the cash exchange facility.
- 8.9Good value for money
The staff were all excellent very friendly, helpful and always smiling! Sister Zainab the receptionist was especially helpful!
The room was a good size very clean and comfortable with a great view!
We went during the last few days of Ramadan and it was good that they provided Suhur and we could request the time that we wanted it delivered to our room! We had Iftar on the rooftop restaurant which was amazing the view overlooking the city was breath taking!
If you go to Marrakech I'd recommend staying at this Hotel as all the staff are excellent and very welcoming they make you feel right at home.
They also have a Spa & swimming pool which we didn't use.
The closest Masjid to the Hotel is around a 10 min walk and if you want to go to the big one (Koutabia) I'd recommend getting a taxi which is about a 6 min drive and costs 20Dirhams.
The breakfasts were fine it was a buffet with the usual food like cereal, bread, cheese, pastries, cakes, pancakes, roti, jams, honey, mint tea, coffee, orange juice etc..
You have a convenient store and pharmacy just up the road (1 min walk). Also the train station is a 5 min walk with KFC & McDonalds next to it if you're into that kind of food.
