- 8.6Lovely Anniversary stay
We booked a suite with a private pool for a weekend anniversary trip (it's more of a jacuzzi than a swimming pool though). Santorini is a difficult place to find secluded pools and villas without others looking in. However this was fully secluded and private. There is one half of the garden area that neighbours can see you in if they are on the balcony. However the pool bit is out of view of any external eyes The only thing is the pool is not heated and in September although the weather is nice it's not hot enough to heat the pool. We braved the ice cold water and got used to it. The food is not halal but vegetarian options are available. The breakfast is simple with few options but tastes better than lots of large hotel buffets. The place itself was spotless and clean. The receptionists were very nice along with all the staff. The place is full of mainly UK tourists I think we were the only Muslim couple we saw there. Its got a friendly vibe and welcoming. There is a larger shared pool but I didnt see anyone in it. Only sunbathing. Would recommend this stay for couples. Not for children at all. They'd get bored as not much for kids here . Beautiful place.
